What is the economic philosophy behind MetalCore’s in-game economy?
The game takes place in a complex martial societal setting on Kerberos. The players will start as soldiers as they arrive at Kerberos from Earth and gather economic resources and political influence to become generals. Players can specialize in several different ways within the economy to provide the most value to their Faction, such as bankrolling their Faction’s war machine, organizing and strategizing assaults, or laying waste to the battlefield by bringing their most powerful Vehicles into the fray.
Will there be in-game purchases?
Players can purchase a wide range of items within MetalCore to enhance their experience, with the opportunity to also purchase NFT versions of assets that can be found within the game.
Are there play-to-earn aspects of the game?
MetalCore is a game that focuses on creating a fun, thrilling and competitive experience for players that can engage them for months and years to come. While players are able to earn various assets within the game that can create NFTs, the process of doing this is to enhance the already exciting experience of MetalCore rather than to give players a way to “earn” within the game.
Are there ways for me to unlock in-game items or content by virtue of just playing the game?
Yes. Players will be able to gain access to a wide range of powerful items by completing missions, with some of these being NFTs which can be traded with other players.
Are assets received from missions randomized (RNG)?
MetalCore features some rewards that are guaranteed and some that are randomised. Players will generally be receiving random rewards during gameplay that they can then use to create items that increase their power and allow them to have a bigger impact on the flow of battle.

How do players pay for items in-game?
Players can purchase various assets within MetalCore’s in-game store using the game’s off-chain currency Shards. This currency can be purchased directly by players in the in-game store and then used for various purposes as they play the game. Players can also purchase NFTs outside of the game experience on marketplaces with cryptocurrency whenever these sales are available.
Are assets available for sale only in-game, or are there marketplaces where players can shop for them?
MetalCore will feature items that can only be purchased in the game that are not represented on the blockchain. Any assets that are NFTs can actively be traded between players through any supported marketplace.
