The Player vs Player (PvP) game mode plays an important role in MetalCore, introducing a competitive edge to the gameplay. Players who engage in PvP matches earn Valor, a currency that helps them rise through the ranks on the PvP leaderboard. Players must have at least a Bronze Season Pass to be eligible for the leaderboard, unlocking access to exclusive rewards. While players can still participate in PvP matches without a Season Pass, they won’t be able to compete for a spot on the leaderboard.

GLOOMWATER MARSH
Gloomwater Marsh is an intriguing battleground emphasizing on merch and infantry combat. Players with the most impressive mechs and elite infantry will engage in thrilling battles to dominate the battlefield.
Available Game Modes on Gloomwater Marsh:

You don't have to be in a barony to engage in PvP game modes.

How do I join a PvP match?
You can join a PvP match by going to any main base (or hub) and selecting the Matchmaking terminal to queue.
Can I select a specific game mode?
On Starslope Station, you cannot select the game mode. The game mode is chosen randomly between Capture the Flag (CTF) and High Value Target (HVT). As for Gloomwater Marsh, the only game mode available is Domination.

What is Barony Wars?
Barony Wars is an invite-only PvP tournament where MetalCore’s baronies (guilds) battle to get the title of the Best Barony on Kerberos.
How do I register my team to participate?
As of Open Beta 1, only a few baronies are exclusively invited to register for our tournament.
As our game evolves, we plan to open the registration to more baronies.
What are the criteria for registering my team?
Your barony must have a minimum of 10 players.
When is the Barony Wars tournament happening?
Barony Wars takes place during the "off-season."
As a participating barony, can I select the game mode I want to engage in?
For now, teams can choose between the two maps.
Gloomwater Marsh guarantees the Domination game mode, while Starslope Station's game mode is chosen randomly between Capture the Flag (CTF) and High Value Target (HVT).
Before the match starts, barony leaders are meeting for a coin toss to decide who gets to pick the map first. The team that loses the game chooses the map where they want to take their opponent.
What format is the Barony Wars using for its tournament?
Every team gets to play against each other (round-robin) in best-of 3 matches (10v10).
During the Grand Finals, the teams engage in a best-of 5 series.
